The Great Khali, whose real name is Dalip Singh Rana, is a retired professional wrestler from India. He was born on August 27, 1972, in Dhiraina, Himachal Pradesh, India.
Khali is known for his imposing size, standing at 7 feet 1 inch tall and weighing over 350 pounds. He began his career as a police officer in Punjab, India, before turning to professional wrestling.
Khali signed with the WWE in 2006 and quickly became a fan favorite due to his size and intimidating look. He is a former World Heavyweight Champion, and his signature moves include the Vise Grip and the Punjabi Plunge.
In addition to wrestling, Khali has also acted in several Bollywood films, including "Kushti" and "Ramaa: The Saviour." He also runs a wrestling school in his hometown of Dhiraina.
Khali retired from WWE in 2014 and has largely remained out of the public eye since then.
